ODD-FELLows.-One of the poor men wha wos killed at the Penydarran Works, happened to have drawn his burial money, XIO, in advance, and had repaid £ "2 by instalments; he was, therefore. f 8 in debt. To the great credit of the order, the Brethren have ordered the full sum of £ 10 to be paid to the widow, who has a large family,—they having taken into consideration the melancholy circumstances of the case. Abergavenny Fair, on Saturday last, was well supplied with horses, but few exchanged owners. We never remember so many good cart horses at a fair, nor so few sold. They are at present a complete drug. The cattle show was rather thin, but they were all sold, and at. bigh prices; as were also the sheep we have seen more at this fair, but seldom a quicker sale, and at such high prices. The cheese market wus not very full, varying in price from 50s. to 70s. The next VVesleyan conference is appointed to be held in London, on the last Wednesday of July, 1842. It is a fact not generally known that the tate Dean of Cork was author of the celebrated parody called The Night before Lttrry was stretched,"
