Entries .-were numerous, and quality reached a bigil standard, especially in the open 1 classes. SWANSEA SWIMMERS. | Water Polo and ExhibHiotl I at Aberdare. I Playing at the Park Lake at A berdare on Thursday evening before 9,000 spec- tators, the Swansea waterpoJo tealll de- feated Aberdare by five goals to one. The goals for the winners were obtained by H. Woolcc- k. E. Daniel (2), and A. Fischer. The homesters who had im- ported two or three players from Mountain Ash, played with plenty of spirit, a couple of their men swimming well and handling the ball with skill, but Swansea were naturally much too good for them. The visitors had a cordial re- ception, being entertained to tea and publicly thanked for their sporting and instructive play.
