I Wedding at Ton-Pentre. On Thursday, the 1st inst., a pretty wedding was solemnised at Bethesda (W.C.) Chapel, Ton, the contracting parties being Mr. Idris T. Price, solicitor. Pontvpridd (son of Mr. and Mrs. Emrys M. Price, Irehafod), and Miss Morfydd May Evans (second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Evans, Ton Schools). The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Grawys Jones, Abcrdare (uncle of the- bride), assisted by the Rev. J. Oldfield Davies. B.A., pastor of the church. Mr. Trefor E. Evans (bro- ther of the bride) acted as best man, while Miss Janet A. Evans (sister of the bride) and Miss Ceridwen Price (sister of the bridegroom) were bridesmaids. The bride, who. was given away by her father, was charmingly dressed in an ivory soft satin dress, veiled with ninon and lace, and wore an exquisitely (hand made) em- broidered veil and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white, roses and heather, and wore a pearl and emerald pendant, the gift of the bride- groom. The bridesmaids were attired in pale apricot crepe-de-Chine dresses and cream 'i'agel hats, and carried bouquets of pale pink carnations. Each wore a gold bangle—gifts of the bridegroom. The bride's mother was dressed in black silk and Maltese lace coatee and grey hat with black feather, the bridegroom's mother being attired in violet silk with toque to match. The bride's travelling costume was of grey cloth. Miss Adii Thomas, organist of the church, played the Bridal March from Lohengrin" as the bridal party entered the chapel, and Mendel- ssohn'n "Wedding March" as they left. There was a large number of spectators, and the chapel was tastefully decorated. A reception was held at "Glasfryn." and later in the day the happy pair left by motor for Bath and Cornwall. I
