-0 WEDDING AT PRESTATYN. At Christ Church on Saturday last a pretty marriage took place, Mr James Bell of Belfast being wedded to Miss Edith Benson, Prestatyn. Several friends assembled at the church to witness the ceremony, which was performed by the Vicar (Rev. Meredith J. Hughes). The bride, who was attired in duchesse ivory satin, trimmed with old lace and wearing a wreath and veil, was given away by her brother-in-law (Mr J. J. Beer, Prestatyn). Miss A. Semple, of Belfast, was the brides- maid, and she was attired in an empire gown of silver grey crepe-de-chine, trimmed with Irish crotchet lace and black velvet, with pretty hat of pale heliotrope. Baby Kath- leen Beer looked very quaint, wearing a silk Dutch coat and hat, and carrying a basket of pretty flowers. Mrs Benson, mother of the bride, was gowned in cinnamon brown crepe- de-chine and lace, with a bonnet of reseda green. The bride and bridesmaid carried pretty shower bouquets of orchids and chrys- anthemums (supplied by Mr Kelly, Prestatyn). The bridegroom was supported by Mr A. Cameron, of Belfast. Miss M. Pascall, R.A.M., presided at the organ, and played appropriate music. After the ceremony, Mrs Benson held a reception at Sea View." The bridal pair left for the North of Scot- land the same evening, the bride's travelling costume being of dove grey velvet with large hat, and grey squirrel furs the gift of the bridegroom. The presents received formed a haudsome and numerous collection.
