CARDIGANSHIRE. MICHAELMAS QUARTER SESSIONS, 1879. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the next General Quarter Sessions of the Peace will be held and kept at the County Sessions House, in the town of Aberayron, in and for the said County, on TUESDAY, the 14th OCTOBER next, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all County Business will commence and be proceeded with. And that at thirty minutes after One o'clock in the after- noon on that day, the Court will proceed to the adoption of the provisions of the several Acts of Parliament relating to the assessment, application, and management of the County and Police Kates, and will pass all Bills examined and approved of by the Finance Committee: Application will be made for a sum not exceeding £ Sf>, to be applied in repairing the County Sessions House at Aberayron. The consideration of the Weights and Measures Act, 1878, will be brought under the consideration of the Court, the appointment of Inspectors thereunder, and their remuneration for the duties to be performed by them. The Court will also fix the fees to be taken for stamping Weights and Measures. The report of the Committee appointed to enquire as to whether the road running parallel with the river at Llanilar Bridge forms one of the approaches to the said Bridge, will be taken into consideration. The Justices will appoint two persons to be rep- resentative governors for carrying out the scheme for the administration of Yspytty Ystrad Meurig and Lledrod Grammar Schools. Attention will be called to the inconvenience of the present arrangement of business, and it will be moved that in future the County Business be taken at half- past Eleven o'clock on the first day of the Quarter Sessions. n And NOTICE is hereby also given, that all Appeals and Traverses to be tried at these Sessions, must be entered with the Clerk of the Peace at or before Eleven o'clock on the morning of Wednesday, the 15th day of October next, (the second day of the said Sessions), and on the said 15th day of October, at the hour last mentioned, all Grand and Petit Jurors, Bailiffs of Hundreds, and persons bound by recog- nizance, must attend and answer to their names, and the several .Magistrates of the said County are re- quested to cause all depositions taken before them, relating to Felonies and Misdeameanours, to be prose- cuted at the said Sessions, to be transmitted to tho Clerk of the Peace en or before the /th-y>y of October next, nnd in all cases arising subsc^^tly, immediately after being taken.
