NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the next Gen- eral Quarter Sessions the Peace will be held and kept at the Town Hall, in the town of Lampeter, in and for the said County, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of January next, at Eleven o'clock in the fore- noon, at which time and place the Court will proceed to the adoption of the provisions of the several Acts of Parliament relating to the assessment, application, and management of the County and Police Kates, and will pass all Bills examined and approved of by the Finance Committee, after which all other County Business will be proceeded with. The Court will proceed to the appointment of a County Treasurer, in the room of Mr Arthur Johnson Hughes, resigned. Four Conservators will be appointed for the Aeron Fishery Board, The Court will be moved to appoint a Committee for the purpose of preparing a new Basis or Standard for County Rates. Two Justices of the Peace will be appointed Visit- ing Justices on behalf of this County of her Majesty's Prison at Carmarthen. The re-appointment of the Public Analyst will be made. And Notice is hereby also given, that after the dis. posal of the county business the court will proceed with the other business of the Sessions, in the follow- ing order:—Firstly, Trials of Prisoners secondly, Trials of Traverses; and thirdly, Hearing of Common Motions and Appeals. White Light flashing every 5 Seconds, will be exhibited occasionally from a structure which has been erected on Dovey Head, 117 feet above High Water of Ordinary Spring Tides. It will show North, round seaward to South, and will be visible in clear weather for a distance of 15 miles. To avoid the Patches when appoaching from the Southward, Vessels should not bring the light to bear to the North of East by North F North, and to avoid Sarn Bwch when approaching from the Northward the Light should not be brought to bear to the South of South East i East.
