TOTA «2SI»^ GAR»'SON.—Since he various de- 8 the 13th depot batta.ion have from time to time been arriving, the officers' mess has been held at the Pier Hotel, wb^re the catering of the worthy hostess, Miss Hussey, gave much satisfaction, every- thing in the cuisine department being served up in the most recherche style, including all the delicacies of the season. The officers of the 7th Brigade, K.A., also messed at this establishment prior to their departure. The depot battalion have now formed their own mess at their mess-room, Hats Encampment. The staff of the hattalion is as follows:—Colonel Moore; Major Chi- chester; Adjutant, Captain Bennet; Paymaster, Major Boyd; Acting Paymaster, Captain Rawlins, 95th Regt; Surgeon, Mr Hoysted Quartermaster, Mr Drsge.

WKSLEYAN TEA MEETING—The annual Whit-Monday Wesleyan tea meeting will take place on the 21-t inst, in the Mould Room. old Dockyard the room being again kindly lent by Messrs Watson and Wimshurst. SrR -Some short time ago one of the members of the Lampeter College Eleven undertook to bring an eleven to plsy fifteen of the Haverfordwest Club. I am now in a position to say that the Haverfordwest Club would be happy to play an eleven ot the Lampeter Club, leaving the other four out of the question, only name the day. I am, Sir, yours respectfully, A MEMBER OF THK H. C. C. SIR,—Wo have dlsoovered what we consider druidical remains in this neighbourhood, which may perhaps be of interest to your antiquarian readers. They consist of four sepulchral urns, containing human bones which, judging by the charcoal found with them, had evidently under- gone cremation. They were found on the top of the bill above Milton, and on the ridge that runs from Tenby to Pembroke. The first was turned up In ploughing, the others were dug out, and although great care was used, we could not get them out whole-tbey were too rotten to hold together. I made also a careful search for some relic of the period, but neither implement or ornament could be found I enclose yon a rough sketch of two of the urns, also a piece of skull that you may judge whether it is human or not. Perhaps, sir, it may have belonged to a great chieftain or hero more than two thousand years ago. I am, Sir, Yours respectfully, MAURICE ORMOND.
