The suhscri tiers and members desire to thank Mr William James, of Hill Street, for his kind assistance in collecting the weekly payments and. keeping the ac- counts of the club. o BRITISH^SCHOOL, NEYLAND.-The Committee of the I MAKNCLDFCHOG SCHOOL.—On the list ult., Mr and f^Vlrs Rarhsm, of Trecwn, gave the usual treat of tea and cake to the school children of this place. Upwards of one hundred children sat down to partake of the good things, which had been provided for them so kindly by Mr and Mrs Barham, who always remember the poor school children of Maenclochog at this time of the year. 'I he children recited several pieces of poetry and sang very creditably. After an address by Mr Walters, and a great deal of cheering and clapping of hands for their benefactors, the ch;ldren went home, highly delighted with their Christmas treat.
