His dam is the well known Trotting Bess, which in every contest has come off victorious, and always has been regarded for symmetry and quality one of the finest Mares in this district. For further pedigree, see Stud Book. YOUNG SPEEKWEIX is a beautiful bay, black legs, with flowing tail and mane, and is entirely free from blemish. He is of splendid action, and of perfectly docile temper, and as a Trotter is one of the fastest in the neighbourhood. His age is rising three year old, and 15 hands high. All Mares intended to be served by YOUNG SPEEDWELL are to be brought to Caemarydwn Farm, and it is act proposed that he shall visit any of the towns, but that the Mares shall be very limited in number.
