Personal Notes. Mr. W. Llewelyn Williams, of the South Wales Daily News, has been appointed assistant-editor to the Star, and in a few weeks will take up his resi- dence in London. Mr. Williams is a prominent Welsh Nationalist, and in his connection with the London Press, we have no doubt, less than the claims of Wales will have a powerful advocate. Mr. Humphreys solicitor of 8, Bow St., has pur- chased the practice of the late Mr. Chillcott, son of the renowned K-ilsby Jones. Mr. Gwilym Richards' singing was deservedly applauded at the King's Cross concert last Saturday evening. He is certain to become a popular figure at our meetings. Mr. F. C. Lloyd, deputy-town-clerk at Cardiff, has been appointed town-clerk of Huddersfield, at a salary of £ 800 a year. Bishop Edwards is to be the university preacher at Oxford next Sunday morning. His lordship, who has been busily at work in his diocese since he returned from the South of France, will get to Oxford on Saturday, and remains there till Monday, when he will come to London for the meeting of Parliament and for Convocation.
