SURPRISING CURE OF A CONFIRMED ASTHL\, AFl'ER FIVK Yt-ARS SUFFERING. THE following rrestimonial has been sent to Professor Holloway, by a Gentleman named Middle ton, of Scotland Road; Liverpool. Sir -Your Pills have Ix-en t)1e means, under Providence, of re- storig me to sound health, after five years of severe affliction. During the whole of that period, I suffered the mos dreadful at- tacks of Asthma, frequently o several weeks duration, attended with a violent cough, and contlnnal spitting o phlegm, intermixed with blood. This so shook my ConstllntlOn that I was untitted for any of the active duties o! life. J was attnded by some of the most eminent medical men of thIS town, but they failed to give me tLe slightest relief. As Illa4 remedy, I tried your ills, and in about three Jnol;thsthey elrected a perfect cure 01 the disease, totally era dicated the cough, and restOlc tone and Vtollr to the chest and digetive organs. I am, SIr, 50Ur obedient servant, (Signed) H. MIDDIETON. A^PBRMINENV'CURE OF A DjSE'ASED LIVER, OF MANY YEAIIS DLKAl ION. (Cop, of a Letter frotn Mr. Gamis, Chemist, Yeovil, to Professor x Holloway.) Dear Sir —In this district your Pills command a more extensive sal" than any other proprietary medicine before tle public. As a proof of their dlicacy in Li^r and biliou Complaints, I may men- tion the following case A lady ot tillS town, wJth whom 1 am per- sonally acquainted, for years was a severe sufferer from disease of the liver and digestive crgaiis; her medical attendant assured her that he could do nothing to relieve her Sl¡J}rIngs, and It was not likely she could survive many months. Ihis aunouncment na- turally caused great alarm anion- her friends an relations, and they induced het to make a tnal of onr Pills, whJCh so improved her general health that she was induced to contlllue them until she received a perfect cure. This is twelve months ago, and she has not experienced any symptoms of iciapst1, .tnd often declares that your Pills have been the means of sav'ng her hfe. I remain, dear sir, yours truly, Nov.2?rd, 1852. (Signed) J. GAM s. AN ASTONISHING CURE OF CHRONIC RHEUMATISM, AFTER BEING DISCHARGED FitOM THE HOSPITAL INCURABLE. (Copy of a Letter from Mr. W. If the air be charged with. noxious gages, aiising irom filth, damp, drains, or cesspools, CHOLERA and dangerous FEVERS are speedily inuueed. And why ? Because the Lungs inhale impure air then the Blood becomes impure; the Liver is slavish in its action; acrimonious Bile is yielded, which centres in the Stomach, causing Sickness, and which, passing into the Bowels, causes severe griping pains, ana ail the symptoms of Cholera. But the removal of everything OUTWARD—o all th, charges the air with miasma—will not prevent the Cholera i, ihe Stomach and Biuod be in tin unhealthy and impure state. If filth OUTSIDE induces this fearful disease, obstructions and impurities existing INTERNALLY will produce the Sime etiect. Can the human system be in a safe and comfortable slate, when uneasiness in the stomach is experiened, together with Heaviness and Pain in the Head ? Is there no danger when the Liver is so enthralled and clogged by impure obstructions that. it cannot yield healthy Bile, but only a foul secretion, producing Nausea, Heart-burn, and pains in the Right Side ?
