Order that a. foot- path that It:" from the public higilway at Bull Bay, in the Parish of Amlwch, in the said County, at a point between a- dwelling-hoaae occupied by William nd James Chard, and the chapel at Bull Bay aforesaid towards Ty Gwyn. in the swid Parish. be diverted by closing such part as leads from the said point as far as Brvn Arthur, in the said Parish, and .substituting in the place thereof the roadway that leads from the said public highway at Bull Bay aforesaid, past the gable end of a dwelling-liono-? now occupied by John Jones to the said footpath at Brya Arthur aforesaid "For the term of three years, and that at the end of such to be henceforth permanently diverted into a proposed new roadway that- will start from the public highway at Bull Bay aforesaid, at a point between the said Chapel and the said dwelling-house occupied by William and James Chid. and extend as far as Brvn Arthur aforesaid, and that the certificate of I two justices having viewed the same, the consent of the owners of the said roads with a plan of the old and proposed new footpath will be lodged with the Clerk of the Pe-aee for the said County on the Twenty- Sixth Day of November instant. NOTICE TO PERSONS RECEIVING INFANTS FOR HIRE OR REWARD. THE above-mentioned Statute requires that on J and after the 1st J AND AR Y. 1898:- 1. Everr person x receiving more than one infant under the a.ge of five Lor maintenance apart from their parents for lurs or reward for a longer period than 48 hours, shall give uotice thereof with- in 48 hours to the Board of Guardians. This notice shall truly state the names, ages, and sex of the infants, and names and abode of the persons receiving and the persons from whom the infante were received. 2. If any such infant is ti-dtusferred from the care of a person who has so received it. notice must forth- with be given of the name and address of the person to whom it has been transferred. 3. Any person receiving an infant under two years for a lump sum. not exceeding £20. without any agreement for further payment, shall give notice within 48 hours. In default. any sum received is liable to be forfeited. 4. All such notices sha.i.1 be in writing, and shall either be delivered at the Union Workhouse. Llan- erchymedd, or be sent by registered letter to Mr THOMAS HUGHES. Clerk to the Guardians, Miny- don. Menai Bridge. 5. In case of the death or any such infant notice must be given to the Coroner of the District within 24 hours by the person having care- of the infant. 6. All persons receiving such infants must admit without obstruction the Inspector or other person appointed by the Board of Guardians to inspect the infants and the premises in which the, are retained. 7. Thev must also obey the directions of the Board of Guardians with regard to the- number of infants who may be received in any premises, and with re- gard to the removal of any child from their care to a workhouse or place of safety. 8. All persons whatsoever must admit to their premises and refrain from obstructing an Inspector or other person acting on the authority of a Search Warrant issued under this Act. 9. No infant shall be received for hire by any person who has been deprived of the care of any child under this Act, or ticUi been convicted of any offence under the Protection of Children Acts, unless the Board of Guardians consenb in writing. 10. Every person who disobeys the foregoing pro- vision of the law is liable to be fined £5, or sent to prison for six months. x Tru does 0 not include hospitals and charitable institutions, nor the parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, or guardians of an infant. 386 NOTICE.
