THE MINES' REGULATION BILL. The miners' delegates, representing the several miners' associations throughout the country, have been sitting during the past week examining the details of the Mines' Regulation Bill, now before Parliament. On Saturday the Trades' Union Congress Parliamentary Committee had an interview with them for the purpose of ascertaining how far the Bill of the Government met the requirements of the mining population. The dele- gates reported that after the most mature deliberation they considered the Bill, on the whole, as a fair and honest attempt on the part of the Government to deal with this important but most vexatiously delayed ques- tion. It was resolved that the Parliamentary Committee should make known the feeling of the miners' delegates to the Trades' Unions of the country, and request their active support to the measure of the Government, so that they may be enabled to successfully carry it through the House of Commons during the present session. Mr. Alexander ilf'Doilald,-t and Mr. George Howell were deputed to make known the above to the Trades' Unions of the United Kingdom.
