CORN. LIVERPOOL, Monday.—For Wheat there are still but few purchasers, and prices remain unaltered. Flour continues in limited request at late quotations. Indian Corn shows no material alteration in tone or value. Mixed American, new, 5s 9Jd; old, 5s lOd to 5a 10id per cental. Barley very quiet. Beans, from continued scarcity, are again dearer, and 8s 4d has been paid on the spot, whilst parcels shipping are offered at 38s 6d for 4801bs. Peas quiet. Little or no inquiry experienced for Oats or Oatmeal. LONDON, Monday.—Market quiet. English wheat a slow sale, at last week's prices foreign dull, and Is to 2s lower since this day fortnight, according to quality. Flour a dull sale, and last week's rates barely maintained. Barley a slow sale. Oats scarce, and 6d to Is dearer thin this day fortnight. Maize Is lower since same date. Beans and peas without change. CATTLE. LIVERPOOL, Monday.—The supply of cattle was larger than on last Monday, and included 280 Canadians. Sheep were also in larger supply. The demand was slow for cattle at about late rates for the best; other sorts, being affected by the foreign supply, were rather easier. For sheep a dull trade at lower prices. Beef, 6d to 8jd; mutton, 8d to lid per lb. There were 1,146 cattle and 3,928 sheep at market. LONDON, Monday.—Trade has been somewhat heavy in the beast market, and prices are lower for all breeds with the exception of a few early sales of prime quality. British arrivals comprised 350 Scotch, 1,100 Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex, and 1,180 midland and home counties. Sheep market quiet, with downward tendency in values.
