That this meeting, affirms .that the-,Commirsioners did not seek or derive the principal .part of their informa- tion from the best and most disinterested sources, but sought it to a great extent from persons who cannot be supposed to be unprejudiced witnesses as to the mental, moral, or religious state of a Dissenting community and that whilst they have published that evidence, they have positively withheld fram the public in very many instances the testimony of intelligent persons, who were fully com-i petent to form a correct judgment."
