King, of Bristol, to be used in tha African trade. His Grace the Duk? of Beaufort has been pleased to appoint Mr John Evans, ofcllepstow, to be his Grace's Coroner for the Manor ami Liberty of Chepstow, vacant by the death of James Evans, Esq Messrs. Jones and Roberts, timber merchants, of this town, have engaged in the business of ship- building; and intend immediately to lay down two vessels of 300 tons each. The dry-dock has also been thoroughly cleaned out, and is now fit for the recep- tion of vessels wanting i-opaii, so that we may anticipate a little stir in the business of this port, the prospects of which have so long been clouded.
