Wray, as no others are genuine. Subjoined are a few of the many favourable notices of the above articles by the press, with which M. O. Wray has been honoured, and numerous medical gentlemen and private individuals have borne testimony to their superior efficacy. Dr. Granville's delightful work, « The Spas of Ger- many,' will, no doubt, induce many persons to visit those celebrated springs who stand in need of renovated health. In cases, however, where the baths are not indispensable, and when the chalybeate properties of the Seidiitz waters ara only required internally, the German Seidlitz Powders, manufactured by M. Wray, chemist, of Holbom Hill, will, no doubt, answer every purpose, as we understand that a correct analysis by several eminent professors of che- mistry has proved that these powders contain the valuable mineral tonic of the celebrated real waters.Court Journal, July 27th, 1837. "THE CELEBRATED SPAS IN GERMANY —The Chalybeate properties of the Seidiitz Waters, in Germany have long been held in high estimation, and their efficacy in all cases of Scrofula and other cu aneous affections has been fully established. A correct analysis of the powders prepared by Mr Wray, of Holborn Hill, by several eminent professors of Chemistry, has proved that they contain the valuable Mineral Tonic on which the virtues of the real waters so much depend in an active and unimpaired state, and the absence of which in the common Seiulitz Powders, probably accounts for their utter inefficacy in all cases where the genuine waters have proved so highly beneficial. All the advantages may now be derived from the use of Mr Wray's Chalybeate German Seidiitz Powders, as would be experienced from a resort to those celebrated Continental springs, the expense and inconvenience of which too often place it out of the reach of many who would be happy to avail themselves of their renovating properties."—The News, May 24th, 1635. Now that the hot weather has set in, no beverage is more salutary than Seidlitz Powders in a glass of water. We have no hesitation in stating, in reference to Mr M. O. Wray's advertisement in another column, his powders are of excellent quality, combining, as they do, tonic and aperient properties in admirable perfection."— The Albion, May 25 h, "In justice to Mr Wray, of Holborn Hill. we cannot longer withhold from the public our unaualiifed annro. I bation of his Chalybeate German Seidiitz Powders. With regard to their medicinal properties, they approach nearer to the waters of the justly celebrated Seidlitz Spring than any we have hitherto met with; and whe- ther taken during the sultry heats of summer or the chilling blasts of winter, they will be found an equally safe and agreeable aperient. To the bilious, the dys- peptic, to persons of a languid temperament, and to those who frequently indulge in Bacchanalian excesses they will prove invaluable. The Sun, June 2d, 1835. BLArGo^ AND RHEU- M ATlC PILLS. Copy of a Letterlrom the De Ia Garde, to Stanislaus, late King of Poland. ToMrprtlul,229.Strand, N o. 20, Vere S treet. Dec. 1838. SIR,-I feel myself bound by the duty I owe r tTII :creatures to xequest that you will pub- rniTT A°vnWSf^ost <,x,r«or'lir>"v effects of BLAIR'S GOUT AND RHEUMATIC PILLS. For a period of 30 years I have suffered more than I can well express but at all times have avoided taking advertised remedies, having a powerful antipathy to tnem, until a few months since, after having been laid up for 22 weeks of an attack of Rheumatic Gout, princi- pally confined to the feet. but at times it travelled to various parts of the frame, and then returning again with accumulated force to the extremities, and to such a degree that I was delirious for five days and nights. I now say that, fortunately I was induced to try BLAIR'S GOUT AND RHEUMATIC PILLS; and, with truth, I assure yourself and the pnblic that, in less than 24 hours, I was free from pain; and by the time 1 had taken half a box the inflammation- and swelling had disappeared. I have the pleasure of adding that my general health has in no way suffered, and that the effects of Blair's Pills were imperceptible. I am, Sir, your obedient servant, THE CHEVALIER DE LA GARDB. The testimonials of the astonishing effects of this Medicine are universally accompanied by the fact, that no inconvenience of any sort attends its administration, bnt that the patient, without feeling the operation of the medicine, is universally left in a stronger and better <tate of health than experienced previous to being afflicted with tbis disease; and in all cases of acute suffering, great relief is obtained in a few hours, and a cure is generally effected in two or three days. This valuable discovery is sold by Thomas Prout, 229, Strand, London and, by his appointment, by n ^L°rgan' DruSg'st> Merthyr Tydvil; Mr Phillips nrdiff; Mr Farror, Monmouth; and all respectable Medicine Venders throughout the Kingdom- Price 2s. 9di per bo*. h Ask for Blair's Gout and Rheumatic Pills, and observe the name and address of "Thomas Prout, 229, Strand, London," impressed on the Government Stamp^ affiled on each Box of the Genuine Medicine.
