IkT Notes and News.
Roller skating is quite a craze in South Wales just now. All the big towns, viz., Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, and Merthyr have large rinks, some of them three or four, whilst many of the smaller towns have a rink each. One of the finest thoroughfares in the provinces is Walters Road, Swansea. It is undoubtedly the best street in Wales. It is very broad, picturesque, and cannot fail to impress the stranger on his first visit to the town. Swansea people ought to feel proud of Walters Road. CYCLE Boom.-There is a distinct revival in the public interest in cycling, and trade in Coventry is flourishing. Orders are pouring in from all parts of the country, so that readers who wish to obtain delivery of machines in time to enable them to get fit for Easter should place their orders at once. We note that prompt delivery" is pro- mised in the advertisements published by Messrs. Edward O'Brien, Ltd., the World's Largest Cycle Dealer of Coventry, who accepts instalments as low as 5s. monthly, and sells well known Coventry makes of cycles at pounds below makers prices. Newport readers should note that Miss M. Bushell, Cert. R.A.M. (Advanced Grade), 85, Marlborough Road, gives lessons in Pianoforte playing and Theory. Miss Bushell is a most competent teacher. The annual meeting of the Welsh Charit- able Aid Society was held last week when. the secretary, Mr. T. E. Morris gave an interesting report on the years' work. The Society is doing a great deal to assist the London Welsh, and it is a pity that it is not better supported by our wealthier class.
