It will always be my pleasure to support any measure beneficial to the Agricultural Interests, and in any future remission of Taxation, to claim for the Farmers that justice which has hitherto been denied them, by the re- tention of the Malt tax. (B) To sanction the grant, issue, and appropri- ation of the shares or stock created under the authority of the said Act at a previous extraordinary meeting of the Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil Junction Railway Company to the Hereford, Hay, and Brecon Railway Company in substitution for their shares and stock, and to attach to the shares or stock so granted, issued, and appropriated, such fixed, fluc- tuating, contingent, preferential, perpetual, termin- able, deferred, or other dividend, or interest payable out of such part of the revenue of the amalgamated undertaking as may be determined upon. 11 (C) To sanction the exercise by the Directors of the Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil Junction Railway Company from time to time after the amalgamation, of the powers of borrowing and re-borrewing given to the Hereford, Hay, and Brecon Riilway Com- pany by the Acts relating to them.
