JOHN PRO- BERT, at the WELLINGTON HOTEL, in the town of Brecon, (subject to such Conditions as shall be then and there produced) the following PROPERTIES, viz :— LOT 1. All that Dwelling House (used as an Agent's Residence,) and Wharf, with Bam, Stable, Granary, Wain-house, Store-house, Lime- shed, and Quays, situate in the Watton, in the Town of Brecon. This Property is suitable for carrying on a large trade by Canal, and is let at £ 50 per annum to the South Wales Coal Company as yearly tenants. LOT 2. All that Wharf adjoining Lot 1, now occupied by Messrs. Griffiths, Timber Merchants, on a lease for a term of 10 or 14 years, from the 1st of January, 1864, at £25 per annum. LOT 3. All that Timber Yard with Sheds, also situate at the Watton aforesaid, now let to Thomas Farr, as yearly tenant, at the yearly rent of £10. LOT 4. All that large Granary, Stables and Shed, and also another Stable, lately let to Edward Williams, at X3 per annum, but at present unlet, situate at the Watton aforesaid. This lot may, at the option of the Vendors, be put up with any of the other lots, as they may determine at the time of Sale. LOT 5.' All that old-established Inn, called the Cock and Horse, together with the Stable and Brewhouse thereto belonging, situate in the Wat- ton aforesaid, in the occupation of Mr. John Pro- bert, as yearly tenant, at the yearly rent of £25. LOT 6. All that Dwelling House, also situate in the Watton aforesaid, and adjoining Lot 1, now in the occupation of Mr. Thomas Powell, Boat Builder, at the yearly rent of X15. LOT 7. All those two Dwelling Houses fronting the W' atton, in the town of Brecon, adjoining the Cock and Horse Inn, in the respective occupations of Mr. Chaddick and another, at the respective yearly rents of £4 and £9 per annum also the Cottage at the back of these houses, now occupied by Mr. T. Lloyd, at X3 per annum. LOT 8. All those Seven Cottages adjoining I of 6, now occupied by various tenants at the low an- nual rent of £24 per annum. The whole of the above Properties are held on a lease for a term of 99 years, commencing on the 25th of March, 1800, subject to a ground rent of X50 per annum, and the same yields an improved rental of upwards of £168, and produce a net ren- tal of about £ 118 or X 19-0 per annum. LOT 9. All that Dwelling House situate in the village of Penkelly, in the parish of Llanvigan, in the occupation of also all those two Pieces or Parcels of Land, also situate in the said village of Penkelly, containing by admea- surement 1 rood and 35 perches (more or less); and also all those two Dwelling Houses and a Piece or Parcel of Land situate at Talybont, in the said parish of Llanfigan, containing by admeasurement 2 roods and 27 perches (more or less.) This lot is held on a lease for a term of 99 years, commencing on the 25th March, 1806, subject to a ground rent of £6 per annum, and yields a rental of £16 per annum, or thereabouts. The Vendors reserve the right of withdrawing any lot or lots, or of offering the first eight lots in one or more lot or lots, and if the same shall be sold in lots, the ground rents shall be apportioned rateably between the purchasers. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that an Ex- traordinary General Meeting of the Company will be held at the Company's Offices, No. 7, Bank Buildings, Lothbury, in the City of London, on TUESDAY, the 22nd day of MAY instant, at three o'clock, for the purpose of approving the arrange- ments made by the Directors with respect to the contracts for works, and for working the traffic of of the Railways, and of entering into such fresh arrangements with respect to such contracts or either of them as the meeting shall see fit. And also for the purpose of raising the sum of X190,000, or some part thereof, by the creation and issue at such times and in such amounts and manner, on such terms, subject to such conditions, and with such rights and privileges as the Company thinks fit, of stock to be 'called debenture stock, with such fixed and perpetual preferential interest not exceeding the rate of £ 4 per cent per annum, payable and commencing as the Company shall direct.
