BOROUGH PETTY SESSIONS. The Sessions were held on Monday last, at the Guild Hall, before John Prothero, Esq., Mayor, George Cansick, Joseph Joseph, and James Wil- liams, Esqrs. DRUNKENNESS, &c.-David Jones, shoemaker, Crickhowell, was brought up in custody, charged with being drunk and exposing his person, on Mon- day last. The offence was admitted.—Fined 2s. 6d. or 14 days. CAUTION TO WORKMEN.—David Bevan, mason, was summoned by Mr. John Williams, of the firm of Messrs. Williams, builders, Llanfaes, Brecon, charged with leaving his work without giving no- tice, Mr. T. B. Bishop appeared for the defendant, and informed their worships that he had only just been instructed, and asked for an adjournment for a week, after some conversation the application was granted. A NUISANCE.—William Prosser, miller, was summoned, charged with allowing his pigs to be at large in the streets of the town. Prosser did not answer to his name. The case was fully proved, and the defendant was fined 2s. and costs.
