Football. NORTH WALES COAST LEAGUE. At a meeting of the Management Com- mittee of the North Wales Football League held on Friday evening, a fine of 5s. im- posed on the Festiniog Club at the previous meeting for late arrival at Holyhead was reduced to 16. on the ground that the de- lay was clue to the railway company. Mr. Weekes resumed the discussion of the action of the Carnarvon Club (adjourn- ed from the last meeting on account of the absence of the Carnarvon representative) in sending to Holyhead a team consisting of only two first team players and nine other men for a First Division engagement, by reason of which the match was reduced to a farce, and the gate diminished by £ 4 or £ 5. Mr. Weekes pointed out that Car- narvon had again failed to send a repre- sentative to that committee, a proceeding which, he said, was treating the committee with contempt. On the motion of Mr. R. Owen (Bangor), seconded by Mr. Weekes (Holyhead), the maximum penalty of 1:1 was imposed on Carnarvon. Carnarvon and Llanrwst were each fined 5s. for failing to fulfil fixtures with each other. Holywell claimed Y.6 Is. 3d. from Festiniog for non-fulfilment of a fixture. Several items in the claim were disallowed, and the sum reduced to £ 3 9s. 3-1d., which Festiniog was ordered to pay, in addition to the costs incurred by Holywell in pre- paring the match. Festiniog was also fined 56. for non-fulfilment of the fixture, and their deposit of £ 3 forfeited. Llangefni also had its deposit of kl (in the Second Division) forfeited for refusing to fulfil fixtures with Dolgarrog, either at home or at Dolgarrog, and was also ordered to pay Dolgarrog's expenses, amounting to 13s. 2d. Mr. E. Lloyd Williams (hon. secretary), who has taken up an important pest in South Wales, announced his resignation. This was recein-edwith regret. Mr. H. R. Williams was appointed hon. secretary pro. tem. I

WHAT DYSPEPTICS SHOULD KNOW.
WHAT DYSPEPTICS SHOULD KNOW. PHYSICIANrS TIMELY ADVICE. The fact that few dyspeptics really un- derstand the cause of their trouble is prob- ably the reason why drugs are still used to such an alarming extent. The practice is wrong, however, and is strongly condemned by many physicians. The presence of excess acid in the sto- mach is the cause of practically all forms of digestive trouble, and this can be neutra- lised and rendered harmless by the occa- sional use of ordinary bisurated magnesia- a product which can be obtained of any chemist. Physicians use bisurated magne- sia themselves as well as recommend it to their patients, because they recognise that it not only overcomes dangerous stomach acid and thus ensures easy digestion, but by its use no harmful drug is introduced into the system and therefore there can be no unpleasant after-effects. Half a teaspoon- ful taken in a little water after meals is usually quite sufficient to keep the food contents of the stomach free from fermen- tation and acid, thus ensuring normal di- gestion.
