On Saturday, :tJe above local rivals met at Graiu-road field, Denbigh, to contest a league match. The Ruthwiites turned up in full strength, and were accompanied by many enthusiasts. Owing to Luth Evans being UD- well. changes werer made in the team, W P Davies, coming into the hilf back line. Fred Davies, the home captain who usually plays centre forward played bad. Referee T Jones, Holywell. An exciting and a very interesting game was witnessed,. At half-time there was a clean sheet! About 20 minutes from tim from a free kick BerwyiM Davies scored amidst the loud cheers of the home crowd. From the centre the visitors centre forward looked danger- ou < and had bad luali in hittiDg the crosa bar. Soon afterwards Berwyn Davies had a very nice run up and scored the second goal Another attempt by Berwyn and Tommy Davies nearly ended in Tommy scoring, but his sbot hit the upright. Play was very fast and furious, but nothing more was scored. A very uict, gentlemanly game ended in a win for Denbigh by 2 goals to none DENBIGH CHURCH GUILD Y. RHYL CHURCH GUILD RESERVES. Played on Saturday at Denbigh, From the start the homesters showed 'hat they were the superior team. J Parry Evans opaueit the score with a fine drive. George Lewis ran up the line and centered, the goalkeeper held the ball, but fell and W Rawson Hughes ran up and scored, Robort Jones aadiug a third and David Hughes a fourth. George Lewis ndded two more in quick succession, and J Parry Evans a seventh. Later on J Tuckfield led an attack which ended in his scoring three goals, and performing his second hat trick this season. J Parry Evans again scored two goals and Eleazar Davies two. The final being Denbigh Church Guild 14. Rhyl Church Guild Reserves 0. GUILD THURSDAYS v. MOLD VILLA. Played at Mold, on Thursday last. Result Mold 5 goals. Denbigh Church Guild 0. VIOSTYN v.
