Dear Sir, I have received the following telegram from H.R.H. the Prince of Wales "Earnestly trust that you will assist my national relief fund by opening subscription list without de- lay and forwarding results to Buckingham Palace—please do." I The Relief Fund is for the purpose of re- lieving the distress throughout our land that must inevitably follow upon the terrible war in which the nation is now engaged. The Fund will be administered by a Central Committee, who will make grants to Local Bodies. May I hope that you will respond liberally to the appeal of our Prince, so that a bum worthy of this County may be contributed to the relief Fund.
