CAS WHAM H 0 1JE, TWO MILES FROM LUDLOW, To tit Set or S:olb, With or without the Furniture, CAISSS.AJI HOUSE, DELIGHTFULLY situated within two miles of the Town ID of Ludlow, The premises comprise excellent Din" ing, Drawing, and Breakfast Rooms, eight good Bed- rooms, a large and very productive Kitchen Garden, Flower Garden, capital Coach House, and two-stall Stable. There are about six acres of GOOD MEADOW LAND, immediately contiguous to the residence, which is only a mile from the Mail Road. Applications may be made to Mr. Griffiths, Bull Ring, Ludlow; Mr, Cole, Chemist, or Mr. Cox, Bookseller, Aberystwith, October 23rd, 1840. Aberystwith Harbour, Oct. 10th, 1840. Sir,—In answer to your note of this day's date, respecting the state of the Harbour, I certify, that the Harbour of Aberystwith is greatly improved, and is capable'of receiving Vessels of from 400 to 500 tons burthen at Spring Tides. The average of our springs is 15 feet on the bar. The new pier, having been carried out to seaward 220 lineal yards, forms a great protection, by resisting the heavy seas, and causing the rivers to be contracted, thereby removing that barrier or bar, that formerly was a great obstacle, by preventing Vessels passing in and out. And also every assistance is rendered at the pier, if required, having a powerful capstan fixed near the end. There are also two large mooring buoys laid down in four fathoms at low water springs, outside of the pier, where ships may moor, and discharge any part of their Cargoes, if waiting for tide to enter the Harbour. These buoys are so situated that Vessels may de- part at any time of tide. I remain, Sir, Your most obedient Servant, RICHARD PAGE, Superintendant of the Harbour Works. To Rice Janes, Esq. Treasurerofthe Aberystwith Harbour. ABERYSTWITH. 1r@ 11 ILUSS FUXtBTXSHEiXk, FOR SIX OR TWELVE MONTHS IF REQUIRED, No. 28, on the Marine Terrace. THE House consists of a Dining and Drawing Room, four best Bedrooms, and two good Attics. There is also a Coach House and Stable in the rear of the premises. The House is admirably adapted for the residence of any genteel family, and will be let on very moderate terms. Apply to Mr. John Cole, Chemist; or at Mr. Cranston's or Mr. Cox's Libraries.
