CKICCIifiTH. ISITORS.—Lord Harlech was at Criccieth on Tuesday and paid a visit to the old castle and grounds. TENNIS CLUB.—The bicycle gymkhana, which had be postponed on August 27th, took place last Saturday in most favourable weather. The entries for the several events were numerous and there was a good attendance of visitors. The events were arranged in three divisions and the following were the prize winners :-Division T.-Ladies, first prize. Miss Lilian Roberts, Talarfor second prize, Miss Rowlands, Portmadoc. Division II.— Gents, 1st, Mr C \V. Hill; 2nd, Mr Emrys Evans. Division fll.-Mixed, 1st, Miss Mary Jones (Bank House), Portmadoc, and Mr Roy Griffiths. The hon secretaries of the Club, Mr W. S. Glynn and Mr J. T.Jones, were assisted in the arrangements for the day by Messrs W. B. C. Jones, C. L. Wray (Ryman Hall), and J. S. ParkiTi. I'he judges were Sir Hugh Ellis Nallneyand Mr Walter Glynn and the prizes were handed to the successful competitors at the close of the evcnV by Sir "Hugh Ellis-Nanney. The tea st,-ill was under the management of Mrs Parry, the Cottage, Irs C. L Wray, and Mrs Roberts, Tal- arfor, who as usual gave gtvat :ilI: i¡[;lctîou.
