THE BEACH.-The stretch of over four miles of firm s-inds is utirivaUed on the Welsh coast, landwards ir is edged by the ridge of pebbles and greensward alongside of which for some distance lie the excellently-arrauged and well-kept golf links of eighteen holes which attract so many players. Fishermen return year after year, some choosing to sport with the bass from the rocks at Borth Point, others try their skill with the Dovey salmon, while others less ambitious are content to gain the courteous permission of Sir Pryse-Pryse, Bart., and fish the modest Lerry for trout. THE BATLIING.-One of Borth's greatest attractions is its safe and pleasant bathing. Many families prefer using their own little tents, but machines can be hired. CLIMATE.—The late Dr Thring, headmaster of Uppingham School, wrote I lived at Borth a whole year with my School from March, 1876, and have visited it summer after summer with my family since. I consider the climate of Borth the best I have ever known, fresh in summer and mild in winter, without being relaxing, and the place in all respects delightful to lovers of sea and country."

A tramway runs direct from Pwllheli along the sea coast to the entrance of the grounds. A most beautiful and enjoyable diive of over 4 miles. Cars run every half-hour. Fare 4d. all the way. Terms for School and Picnic Parties on application. r ^-Bardsey Island is also one ot the attractions, being noted for its many historical associations: sailing boats to convey parties ¡hI' Inland may be hired for a small sum. Walks and beautiful Drives are also a great feature in Pwllheli, and as a Cycling Centre no better could be desired. There is a good Cricket Ground pro video, and the Gulf Links (9 hole course) were laid out under Professor Morris, of Hoylako. The Links are within 3 minutes' walk of the West End Hotel, and are under the Pe ""I' Ice of a Professional, who will <:ive lessons to beginners. Weekly or Monthly Tickets may be obtained from the Estate Office or the West End Hotel. » —————— For the Season.—The services of a First-class Band have been secured for the Season, and it will perform on the Parade daily in July, August, and September, morning and evening. Free seating accommodation on the West End Parade for thousands of visitors. In the afternocn the Band will generally be playing in the Grounds at GJyn-y- weddw.
