On 'Good Friday evening the choir of Christ Church, Llanifairfecha.n, sang Gaul's- Passion; Service. The solos were taken by Mrs Llewelyn Jones (soprano), Miss- -Lucy Davies (contralto), Mr J. O. Relberts ((tenor), and Mr Will Roberts ) (baritone). Mr Llwelyn Jones performed the instrumental parts on the organ, which has re- cently been much enlarged. THE sad and serious accident which occurred on Good Friday t Mrs McMichan, her son, and sister, makes visitors and others who drive about j the country hope that the practice of inspecting harness and carriages of all kinds will become a necessity in these smaller seaside and summer resorts, as is observed in larger Iplaces. All who ply for hire have to attend at the Town Hall, if there is one, or at some appointed place, where the horses, donkeys, or goats are examined, and also the carriages and harness used, a thoroughly competent man, appointed by the District or other Council. This necessitates constant in- spection and care, that the harness, &c., is kfpt in good order, and prevents many accidents which would otherwise occur.-Coii.
