Bangor Reserves v. Llangollen Town. Welsh Amateur Cup-Semi Final. [BY "YANTO."] This tie was played at Flint on Saturday in ideal .football weather, before a large gather- ing. Both, teams were playing their strongest available elevens. The Valeites won the toss, and Bangor kicked off with a strong sun in their eyes. LLangollen then attacked, and forced a corner off R. Ellis, which proved futile. Hands against Blangor brought the ball back, and Allen Jones cleared with a hUlge- kick. H. J. Diavies wias penalised for offside when in a good position. The Ban- gorians pressed, and several times putt the ball behind. Hangar gained a corner off Beaker, whidh R. T. Evans placed behind. The Bluels now woke up, and R. llis, cleared in grand style when hard pressed. T. Evans was fouled just ouitsidie the penalty area by W. Evans, and from the resultant free kick the little custodian of the Cilty team brought off a magniftcenit save, which fully deserved the applause he re- ceived. At the other end H. J. Davies wa,s fouled by Hughes1, ,and from the free kick the Valeiites' goal had a narrow escape.- Strong kicking by the Blues carried the ball to the 'Bangor goal, where the left back, in trying to clear, kicked the ball across the goalmio,u,tliand a bully ensued. The ball was, however, forced pasit Jiones, and after thirty minutes' play Llan- gollen were leading by one goal to nil. Soon afterwards the whistle sounded for half-time, with Llanduidno leading by one goal t'o nil. Llangollen re-started, but Bangor took up the running, and placed the ball behind. iian- igor were all over their opponents, (and R. T. Evans made a fine run, and with on1)' the goal- keeper to face Griffit,hs. tripped him inside the dreaded area, the referee awarding Blangor a penalty. The work of converting this, was left to Hwifa Williams, who, with a good shot, Z, netted the ball, but for some infringement the referee ordered the kick to be retaken. This time Hlwfa wais not successful, for Morris saved the shot ait the expense of a corner. R. T. Evans, Hughie Davies, "nd Joe Williams kept the Llangollen goalkeeper busily engaged, and Biangor gajined several corners, but could not score. Pretty play by the Bangor forwards brought pressure on the Vale .gnal, and Joe Williams put in a magnificent centre, which IR. T. Evans meit, and with a rattling shoit equalised within elerven minutes of tiime. Ban- gor had praÓtioaJIly all their own way a.fter- wardls. Hwifia Williams forced a corner off Bieaker, and R. T. Evans taking it put in a lovely centre, which Burns, me', and in an in- stant Morris was beaten. From the centre Hwfa Williams was- injured and taken off five minutes from time and did not. return, whilst half a minute later R. T. Evansi was winded, but he soon recovered. The Bangor forwards wiith clever combination completely ran the LliangoiUen halves off their feet,, and H. J.
