The Mosquito is not only a nuisance in itself but is also ,a fertile carrier of disease. Malaria and other deadly diseases have been proved to be carried by Mosquitoes. The war conditions make the menace of the Mosquito particularly serious this year.. The recent epidemic of Spanish Flu has been traced entirely to Mosquitoes. Messrs. Lawson & Co. (Bristol) Ltd., St. Philip's. Bristol, have issued an excellent little book .telling in simple language the story of the Mosquito and how the Mosquito can be exter- minated from our midst. Our readers by mentioning this journal can have a copy sent- free on request. PUBLIC NOTICES, J Corn Production Act, 1917.
