A troop of the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry Cavalry, under the command of Captain R. Williams- Wynn will form the Royal escort. The Mayoress will present a bouquet to her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales and bouquets to their Royal Highnesses the Princesses Victoria and Maud. FROM THE STATION TO THE TOWN HALL. When the procession starts the first division of the escort will precede. The second and third divisions will immediately precede and follow the Royal carriage. Captain R. Williams-Wynn, com- manding the escort, will ride on the right side of the Royal carriage, his second in command on the left. The fourth division of the escort will follow the procession. Carriages 9 to 12 will also drive on a little in advance of the Royal carriage, so as to arrive half a minute earlier. AT THE TOWN HALL. Arrival 12.20 p.m. The Superintendent from Carmarthenshire will be in command at the West entrance. A guard of honour of the Brecknockshire Volunteer Battalion South Waies Borderers, under the command of Major Cheese, will be drawn up in the street oppo- site the entrance. Carriages 1 to 4 (Town Council) will draw up simultaneously in Queen's road. The Deputy- Mayor's carriage (No. 4), being at the entrance, will at once pass on into Bath street. The Deputy Mayor and the other members of the Town Council will cake their places in the temporary porch to receive the guests. Carriages 5, 6, and 7 (County antnoriries) and 8 (College officials) will draw up simultaneously in Queen's road, set down, and at once pass on into Bath street. The county authorities and Lady Rendel will enter the Town Hall, and at once pass on into the marquee by the Court Room, attended by the Registrar of the College. The President and Principal of the College will enter the Town Hall, and remain in the Court Room. Carriages 9, 10, and 11 (University Officials) and 12 (the Mayor, Mayoress, and Town Clerk) will draw up simultaneously in Queen's road, No. 12, being at the entrance, will set down, and at once pass on into Bath street. The Mayor, Mayoress, and Town Clerk will alight and enter the tempo- rary porch in time to receive the Royal party. The Royal carriage will next draw up, set down, and pass on. The remaining carriages will draw up and set down in order. The Royal party will enter the Town Hall attend- ed by the Mayor and Mayoress, and followed by the suite, and enter their private rooms. The Mayor and Mayoress will return to the Court Room. The University officials will follow the suite into the Town Hall, aud pass into the Court Room, where they will be joined by the honorary graduates. The Presidents of the North and South Wales Col- leges and the Principal of the North Wales College will form into procession (see proceedings in con- gregation) and await the Royal party. Lord Londonderry and his party will enter the Town Hall after the University officers, and pass through the Court room into the marquee. The Deputy Mayor, Town Clerk, and Town Council will then form into procession, enter the Town Hall, aud pass through the Court Room into the marquee, the Mayor and Mayoress following. Professor Genese and Brough will act as stewards in the Town Hall, wearing green and white rosettes. Sergeant-Major Makeling (porter of the College) will act as marshal. Professors Snape and Marshall will be in com- mand in the marquee with a staff of students to act as stewards, all wearing white and green rosettes. Two of Messrs. Piggott's men, at the direction of the marshal, will unroll the central strip of carpet immediately after tho Mayor and Town Council have entered the marquee. The procession will enter the marquee at 12.30 p.m. PROCEEDINGS IN THE CONGREGATION. Members of the University not taking part in the procession will be seated by twelve noon. The Treorkv Royal Male Voice Choir (con- ductor, Mr. William Thomas.) will sing in the mar- quee from twelve noon till the entrance of the pro- cession. The procession will enter from the Town Hall at 12.30 p.m., in the following order, the marshall pre- ceding H.R.H. the Chancellor and H.R.H. the Princess of Wales. H.M.S. will fire a salute of guns. 12.38 p.m.—The Registrar (Mr. Ivor James) will read the deed of appointment, and will hand it to the Senior Deputy-Chancellor, who will present, to the Chancellor. 12.41 p.m.—The Senior Deputy-Chancellor (Dr. Isambard Owen) will read an address from the University Court, and present the instrument of office, the key of the University seal, and a copy of the charter and statutes. 12.45 p.m.—During the reading of tho address, members of the court will stand in their places! The members of the court having resumed their seats, the Vice-Chancellor (Principal Viriamu Jones, F.R.S.) will read an address on the part of the senate, and will present a patent conferring the degree of doctor in Legibus Honoris Causa. While the Vice-Chancellor is speaking, members of the senate will stand in their places. 12-47 p.m.-The Warden (Mr. Owen M. Edwards, M.A.) will read an address on behalf of the Guild of Graduates. While the Warden is speaking mem- bers of the Guild will stand in their places. 12.49 p.m.-The Chancellor will reply to the addresses. During the Chancellor's reply all will be seated. 12.55 p.m.—The Mayor, Town Clerk and Town Council of Aberystwith will enter the congregation from the north side, and advance towards the dais, 12.57 p.m.-The Town Clerk (Mr A. J. Hughes) will read an address from the boiough of Aber- ystwith. The Chancellor will acknowledge the address. The Mayor, Town Clerk, and Town Council will leave the congregation lw the north exit. « The Chairman of quarter sessions (Mr Willis Bund), the senior magistrate, and the Chairman of the county council, Rev Rice Lloyd, M.A., and Mr Alderman C. M. Williams, will enter the con- gregation from the south side, and advance to the dais as the Mayor and Town Council leave. The senior magistrate will read an address from the magistrates of the county. The Chancellor will acknowledge the address. The Chairman of the county council will read an address from the county council. The Chancellor will acknowledge the address. The Chairman of quarter sessions, senior magistrate, and Chairman of the county council will leave the congregation by the south exit next the dais. The Provincial Grand Master of the Freemasons of the Western Division of South Wales (Lord Kensington), attended, will enter the congregation from the north side, advance to the dais, and present an address. The Chancellor will hand a written reply. The Provincial Grand Master and his attendants will leave the congregation by the north exit next the dais. 1.0 p.m.-Vice-Chancellor will present recipients of honorary degrees in the following order 1.1 p.m.-H.R.H. the Princess of Wales to receive the degree of Doctor in Music. Other recipients not yet published.
