LLANYMYXECH. MINSTREL ENTERTAINMENT.—On Tuesday evening a grand entertainment was given in the Lion Assembly Rooms by the Old Kentucky" Minstrels on benalf of the Llanytr^ech Cricket Club. A. varied and interesting programme was carried out in a highly satisfactory manner, and the unanimous verdict of the audience was, that it vras the best entertainment given here for years past. Major Goodaire, who takes a great and active interest in the Club, was chairman, and in a few remarks ex- pressed a wish that the people of the district would rake a more active interest in our grand old national game. The funds of the Club were in a rather low condition and he was expressing the feeling of the committee when he tendered their sincere thanks to an anonymous donor for a gener- ous gift of two guineas. Votes of thanks were passed to the genial chairman, performers, and Mrs Roberts, and most enjoyable evening was brought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem.
