James, de- ceased (in bankruptcy), to offer for sale by auction at the Royal Oak Hotel, Welshpool, ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 26th, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, all those Valuable Freehold Premises known as POWYSLAND MILLS, situate in the Town of Welshpool, between Salop-road and the Shropshire Union Canal, the latter bounding the property on one side, on which there is a Wharf for the use of the Mills. These extensive premises comprise large and substantially built stone and brick buildings, a considerable portion of recent construction, and the whole especially planned ior carrying on a comprehensive .Fellmongering, Tanning, and Wool busi- ness, affording sufficient room for dealing with three thousand skins per week. In addition to the Mills, there are other Buildings and Out-offices, a large Bark Shed, and an Engine Shed., There is also a well-built, Nine-roomed House, with Garden and vacant land, the whole embracing an area of 8,924 square yards or thereabouts. Valuable Water Rights obtained from the Shropshire Union Canal Company are also included in the sale, and these, with the facilities which the Canal affords for the carriage of goods to and from the wharf on the premises, are most important items. The Railway Service also of the Cam- brian, London and North Western, and Great Western, place these Mills within easy reach of the leading midland and other markets. The Buildings are so extensive and well placed that they could easily be made suitable for sundry other businesses, be- sides for that which the late owner intended them. As it is essential that the Property should be disposed of immediately, to enable the trustee to complete the winding up of the estate, the sale is well worthy the attention of Mill Owners, Manufacturers, Merchants, and business men generally.
