THE GUARDIANS OF THIS UNION Invite Applications for the Appointment of Master Lnd Matron of their Workhouse; duties to com- mence on Wednesday, 3rd day of November next. Applicants must be Man and Wife, and must be between the ages of 30 and 45 years. The Master must be fully competent to keep the Books and Accounts, and to perform all the duties prescribed by the Orders of the Local Government Board, and will be required to enter into security through an approved Guarantee Society in the sum of X200 for the discharge of his duties. The Matron must be capable of managing the domestic arrangements of the House, and of performing her duties as prescribed by the above Orders, and both Officers must devote the whole of their time to the duties. Salary, .£35 per annum Master, and JC30 per annum Matron, together with rations and fur nished apartments in the Workhouse, and also an extra remuneration of -66 per annum each during the contract with the Bicton Asylum for the maintenance of their patients in the Workhouse.
