Since the first establishment of the Carnarvon- shire Agricultural So-iety, a very laudable spirit o industry has been observed among niauy of the Tenants and farmers HI different parts of the county, and the Members of the Society look f forwards with confident hope, that the rewards and encouragements offered at the present Meet- ing, will excite a great degree of emulation, and a proportionate spirit of improvement throughout Ithe county. The Society having for its object the promotion of a general spirit of Agriculture ia the county Carnarvon, and being particularly desirous of (' encouraging Tenants and Farmers, have resolved, that theirpremimns shall be given to tenants only, and they are hereby invited to attend the several Meetings of the Society, to state their respective claims, with which the owners will net be allowed to interfere.
