I THIRD DAY. The weather on Friday was a great contrast to the preceding day, a drizzle in the morning being succeeded by a dense mist, which at times obscured the targets, and the final stage of the Talbot Memorial had to be postponed in consequence of the impossibility of sighting the targets at 300 yards. A meeting was held at the pavilion after luncheon time to make arrangements for shooting for the China Cup at the National Rifle Association meeting at Bisley. Major Trick presided. It was agreed to select a team to represent the county of Glamorgan, to be captained, as in former years, by Major Trick, and the various preliminary arrangements were decided on. A hope was expressed that officers commanding battalions would contribute towards the entrance fees.
