PLATFORM EXTENSION — The platforms at the Railway Station are being extended in view of the fact that exceptionally long trains will be run durin.g' the course of the season. Two hundred feet are to be addled to the fa.st and slow "up" platforms, thus making them eight hundred! feet fong, but it will not be possible to add to the length of the "dow,n" sloyji line plat- form, because a portion of the bridge which lies at sornQ distance from the end intervenes. It is expected that the improvements will be com- pleted by the beginning of next month. THE SERENAiJERS.
