Wedding.Great interest surrounded the marriage on Tuesday at the Abermeurig C.M. Chapel, of Miss Mary Davies, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Davies, Rhiwonen, to Mr. Daniel Jones, Sarnau, Bwlchllan. Both bridegroom and bride are well known in the district and the interesting ceremony was witnessed by a large number of friends. The officiating minister was the Rev John Evans. The bride was given away by her f-ather, and wore a handsome dress of silk eoline, trim- med with lace and insertion. She wore a gold bracelet, the gift of the bridegroom and carried a bouquet. The bridesmaids were her three sisters, Miss Margaret J. Davies, Miss Sarah Davies and Miss Rachel Ellen Davies. They were prettily dressed in white alpaca, trimmed with lace and insertion, and wore brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom. There were also in attendance the three little nieces ef the bride, the Misses Maggie, Rachel, and Bessie Davies, from London, who were daintly dressed in white silk. They also wore brooches, gifts of the bridegroom, and carried bouquets. Mrs Jones, Sarnau, sister of bridegroom, was becomingly attired in cream tussore silk. The best man was Mr. E. Jones, bridegroom's brother. The weddmg party also included Mr Stephen Jones, bridegroom's father, Messrs. Stephen andJ. D. Davies brothers, of bride, and Master John Hughes Davies, nephew- of bride.Alter the ceremony was over, the party repaired to the bride's h.me, where dinner was partaken of. Later in the day the bride and bridegroom left for Llandrindod wells, where the honeymoon will be spent. They were the recipients of a large number of valuable presents.
