ANNIANFORD. -Synchronising with the shortage of llIe-at there have been depredations up- on the shewpfolds in the Ammanford district. A sheep was caught and killed on Cathilas Farm oni Saturday night. It was afterwards carried to a secluded spot, llld flayed and opened. The skin and entrails were there left behind, and the carcase taken away. Mr Fred Brarrdey, of the Parlia- mentary Committee of the Trades Union Congress, addressed a crowded public meeting at the Padae-ei Theatre Ammanford on Sunday night, upon "Food Prices and Monopoly in War Time." At the lo. a. res()btion wru. passed, on the motion of Mr T. Gib- bon Davies, seconded by Mr T. Dafen Williams, ealling for the socialisation 'of the food supplies, and the repeal of the.
