John Hunt Repton Hart, who recently completed fifty-five years' ministry at Aberlady Church, Haddingtonshire. He was one of the oldest and most notable ministers of the Church of Scotland. I A Welsh quarryman named Thomas Richards was walking near the Cornelly Quarry, Glamorgan, when the ground gave way beneath him and he was thrown first on to a ledge just below, and then into a work- ing 35ft. deep.
