William naunders, a boy or seven, was playing in the yard of a funeral mason at Carshalton on Saturday when he dislodged a large marble cross, which fell on him and killed him. The tenth annual festival of the National Union of School Orchestras was held at the Crystal Palace on Saturday, when 6,500 boy and girl violinists drawn from the school orchestras in London and vicinity were the performers.
