Pretty Wedding at Barmouth.
Pretty Wedding at Barmouth. At St. John's Church, Barmoutb, on Wednesday last, the marriage was solemnised between Miss Megan Evans, A.R.C.M., second daughter of the late Alderman John Evans, J.P., and of Mrs Evans, Tanrhiw, with the Rev. Henry Williams, B.A., curate-in-charge, Menai Bridge. The Church was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The Rev. R. Lloyd Roberts, M.A., R.D., the rector of Bar. month, officiated, assisted by the Rev. T. Lloyd Jones, B.A., and the service was fully choral, the music being ren- dered by the Choirs of St. John's Church and St. David's Church. The organist was Mr W. H. Pyemont who played Mendelssohn's Wedding March." The hymns included "The voice that breathed o'er Eden," and" 0 Perfect Love." The bride, who was given away by Mr R. Guth rie Jones, solicitor, Dol- gelley, was dressed in white ninon over white satin trimmed with silver tissue and orange blossoms. She wore a tulle veil and carried a sheaf of arum lilies. The bridesmaids, Miss M. C. Evans (sister), Miss Annie Williams (sister of the bridegroom), Miss Annie Griffith and Miss Madge Hughes (cousins of the bride), wore white muslin frocks frrimmed with Mechlin lace and had white Mechlin hats. Each carried a posy of violets and tulle the gift of the bridegroom. The page, Master Edward Jones (the bride's nephew) bad a cream silk suit. The groomsmen were the Rev. R. Ward, B.A., Barmouth, and the Rev. Joel Hughes, B.A., Llanfair P.G. I The reception was given by Mrs Evans at Tanrbiw, the home of the bride, the guests including Mrs G. Griffith, Ballarat; Mrs Mary Davies, F.R.A.M., London; Mrs Capt. Wm. Griffith, Tudor House Mrs J. A. Row. lands, Penygroes; Mrs R. Guthrie Jones, Rooinda, Dolgelley Mrs Arthur Hughes, Miss Gwenfron Hughes, Master Glyn Hughes andMissGriffith,Glynhefin; Misses E. & K. Griffith, Brodawel; Capt. D. The bride and bridegroom left by motor en route for London, the bride being dressed in a purple costume and hat to match and ermine tie.
