HARLECH. The grand concert held at Moriah Chapel (CM) Harlech, on St. David's Day, proved to be one of the most successful ever held in the district. There was a large and respectable audipnee, and the promoters are to be highly congratulated upon their success- ful enterprise. The concert was prpaided over by the Rpv. Richard Evans, who delivprvd a short, and eloquent address. TIIP artistes were:— soprano: Miss Sallis, Roberts, Ruahon; contralto: Miss Annie Davies, ReM., Manchester; tenor; Mr E W BelliSr Mt- E W. B(-Ilis,, Wrexhnm baritone Mr George Jack- son, Llangollen. This noted quartette as on the previous night at Brcmoutb, gave a splendid account of their qualities and ability as a successful conceit party, and the fine manner in which the songs, duetts and quartettes wprp rendered, highly pleased the audience. E., Owen Davies, A.R C.M.> Blaenau Festiniog, proved a most efficient accompanist. She is in reality a mistress of the art, and her plitying throughout was highly appreciated. This, without a doubt, was a rare musical treat. Much credit is due to Mr W. Lloyd Humphreys, the energetic secretary, whilst Mr J. Ivor Jones proved a most efficient treasurer.
