NORTH WALES HEROES | MEMORIAL.I
NORTH WALES HEROES MEMORIAL. I PRINCE OF WALES ON SERVICE j TRAINING. Excellent progress is being made with the organisation of the North Wales Heroes' Memorial, to commemorate the bravery of the gallant sons of North Wales who have made the great sacri- fice. The movement was initiated by Mr R. J. Thomas, of Garreglwyd, Holyhead, with a subscription of £ 20,000, and the memorial is to take the form of new science buildings in connection with the University College of North Wales, Bangor, with special provisions for agriculture. In a letter to L'1rd K°nyon (chairman of the ExrcnHvf C 'HMvtiMr') Sir SyrS-KV Greviile writes: —" I have had the honour of submitting to the Prince of Wales your letter with reference to the proposed rebuilding of the Science Sec- tion of the University College of North Wales at Bangor. His Royal Highness was much interested, and quite agrees that in future trainiug in science must be more thorough in order to attain the high standard which has been found to be so necessary. This standard can only be achieved by the most modern facilities, and the Prince desires me to say how much he hopes that the neces- sary funds will be oveniually sub. scribed, so that the rebuilding when once commenced may not be delayed on that account. His Royal Highness will have much pleasure in sending a don- ation of RIOO, and will be glad to hear from time to time of the progress that is made towards obtaining the sum re- quired." The total aimed at is 4150,00-3. The organising secretary for Merionethshire is Alderman T. M utin Williams, J P., Bod Idris, j
PASS IT ON.
PASS IT ON. Good News in Barmouth. There has been some excusable doubt in the minds of the few in Barmouth. They have asked themselves whether such singular benefit could last. Doubt after doubt bas disappeared and the proof of lasting cure given here by Miss Davies disposes of the last shadow of doubt. Read it and judge. On January 30th, 1909, Miss S. C. Davies, 5, Glasfor Terrace, near the Roman Catholic Church, Barmoutb, said :—" I bpgan to suffer with dragging pains across my back and loins abont twvelve months ago, when I felt also so unnaturally tired that I could hardly keep to my work. My knees were weak and stiff, too, and I felt altogether out of sorts. 11 1 had no doubt that my kidneys were causing the trouble, so I made up my mind to try Doan's backache kidney pills. I was pleased to find these pills were just the medicine I needed, for after I bad taken a few doses the pains began to leave me and the tired feelings passed away, and I was able to get about with ease. I am as well as ever I have been, and if I fpel any signs of the old trouble I shall certainly use Doan's pills. I heartily recommend them. (Signed) S. C. Davies." On February 7r,h, 1916-ovet- seven years later-Miss Davies said :—" I am keeping in the best of health, and free of the trouble Doan'3 pills cured me of, seven years ago." Often those in the greatest danger from kidney complaint do not know their kidneys are diseased, and so the, trouble is neglected until it reaches a serious stage. Cure your kidneys while you can, by commencing with Doan's backache kidney pills at once if you have any such clear signs of kidney disorder as urinary sediment, gravel, pains in the loins and back, rheumatism, and dizzi. ness. Price 2/9 a box, of all dealers, or from Foster McClellan, Co., 8, Wells Street, Oxford Street, London, W. Don't ask for backache or kidney pills,-ask- distinctly for Doan's backache kidney pills, the same as Miss Davies bad.
