PORTION OF ISCENNEN ROAD, AMMANFORD. TO THOSE WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Meeting of the above Council, held on Monday, the 8th day of September, 1919, at the Y.M.C.A. Institute, Ammanford, the following Resolution was duly passed (that is to say)- That whereas on the 2nd day of October, 1907, in accordance with Sec- tion 2 of The Private Street Works Act, 1892 (55 and 56 Vict., c. 57), this Council passed the following Resolution, namely- That with a view to facilitating the work of Street Improvements within their District, it is advisable to adopt, and this Council hereby do adopt, The Private Street Works Act, 1892 (55 and 56 Vict., c. 57).' And whereas on the 3rd day of June, 1919 (in accordance with Section 6, Sub- section 2, of the said Act), the follow- ing Resolution was duly passed by this Council, namely— That it is desirable, and this Council hereby do Resolve, to drain, pave, metal, channel, and make good the whole of Iscennen Road, and that the Surveyor be instructed to prepare and submit to the Council in respect of such Street Works (1) A Specification with Plan and Sections (if applicable) (2) An Estimate of the probable expense of the Works; and (3) A Provisional Apportionment of the estimated exper ?e among the premises liable to be charged therewith under the Private Street Works Act, 1892: And whereas the said Specification, Estimate and Provisional Apportionment, so far as the same relate to that part only of Iscennen Road aforesaid which lies between its junctions with College Street and Talbot Road, respectively, have accordingly been prepared by the Council' s Surveyor and submitted by him to them, It is hereby Resolved: That this Council, pursuant to Section 6, Sub- section 2, of the said Act, hereby approve the said Scpecification, Esti- mate and Provisional Apportionment as so prepared and submitted, without modification or addition.'
