RESPECTED OLD SKETTY RESIDENT. Mrs. Thomas Perkins, the Bryn, Sketty, who died at the age of 78 afer only a fort- night's illness, at her residence, had lived in Skettv all her life, while she and her hus- band "had been married upwards of fifty years. Much sympathy is felt with the be- reaved family, and on Friday when the in- terment took place in Cockett Churctxyard a large number attended the funeral. The Rev. D. Akrill Jones, vicar of Sketty, offici- ated at the home and graveside. The prin- cipal mourners were: Mr. Thomas Perkins (husband), Messrs. W. H. Perkins and M. ,1, Perkins (sons), Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. Boxall (son-in- law and daughter), Messrs. D. J. Perkins (Commercial Inn, Killay) and Herbert James (Dunvant) (nephews), Mrs. Davies (ndece), Messrs. M. and H. Eaton (nephews). Mes- dames Martha Harries and H. Harries (Loughor) (nieces), Messrs. Thomas, Joseph and George Jenkins (brothers), Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Jenkins (aister-in-law and brother). Miss Jane Jenkins (sister), A, lr. Arthur James (family solicitor), Mr. Hufisey and others. Beautiful floral tributes were sent by the sorrowing hnbsand. brothers and sis- ter, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert James, Mr. and Mrs. Boxall and others. »
