NEWTON CHAPEL COMPETITIVE MEETING. A successful competitive meeting was held at Paraclete Congregational Chapel, Newton, on Thursday night. The chairman was Mr. W. B. Evans and the adjudicators were :-1 Music and literature, Mr. George Dorrell prize bags and croehetting, Mrs. T. L. Davies. The accompanist was Mr. C. R. Lloyd.
