Board of Agriculture Scheme for the Distribution of Sittings of Eggs of Pure Breeds of Poultry. 1. Arrangenients have been made to supply-a limited number of sittings of 12 eggs of pure breeds of fowls to Cottagers and Small Haiders 'residing in the County of Brecon. A COTTAGER is defined for the purpose of this scheme IáIS a person inhabiting a cottage, the rent of which does not exceed 12/6 a week. A SMALLHOLDER is a, person whose holding is used for agricultural purposes, a.nd either does not ex- ceed 50 acres in extent, or the assessment of which does not exceed £50. 2. The Scheme will be ip operation from January 1st to April 30th. 1917. Orders will be executed in rotation, and no applicant will be pormi,11t.ed to obtain more than three dozen eggs under the provisions of this scheme. 3. Applications for sittings should be made to the Station Hodders flamed below. The applicant must enclose a postal order for 2/6 for each dozen of eggs ordered. This sum will cover the cost of a suitable box for packing, but purchasers will be required to pay the cost- of carriage. The applicant should give, in addition t-o has full name and postal address, the name of the radlwa-v station to which the eggs may be sent. 4. All eggs sent out from these stations will be stamped with a stamp provided by the Board, and infertile eggs (that is. "clear" eggs only) will be replaced if they are returned to the station, carriage plaid, within 28 days of the date of the j despatch of the sitting. 5.
