The bag contained £3.000 in Treasury notes. Mr. Rowland Thomas, who prosecuted said accused had been assistant post- woman at Milford Haven for 18 month*. Oti September 2-ith. the cashier at the London Provincial Bank, Lothburv Branch, London, made up two letters each containing £ 1.500 in Treasury notes The two letters, with five others, wer-a contained in one bag, which arrived at Milford Haven the following day.
