Mr. Morris,—that it is the cpinion of this Meeting that Bridgend is a central ami convenient ptace for holding the Ejection of a Member for representing this County in Par- liament, An amendment was proposed on the motion of Mr. Vaughan, seconded hy Mr. John Wood,—that the tixiiiff by A ct of Parliament of Bridgend as the only place for the Election of a Member to represent this County is not necessary, the existing laws oil the subject being sufficient, which being put and negatived, the original motion was put and carried. On the motion of Mr. Traherne, seconded by the Rev. It ivas llesoltied, That it is expedient to apply to Parlia- ment for an Act to fix the County Election at Bridgend, and that Mr. Hall he requested to take such steps for obtaining the same as he shall think proper.
